Anyone who has served in the military knows what the Individual Ready Reserve is. When I separated from the Air Force, I had served 4 years active duty against a six year committment. From the time I was separated until my six year obligation was up, I was placed on (what was then called) Inactive Reserve. It wasn't until six years had passed from my enlistment date that I got my DD-214 which terminated my obligation to the military. If you don't have your DD-214 your are not separated from your obligation to serve.
As BlackFive points out, it has to be that no one in the media has actually served.

Meanwhile, over a Sissy Willis' blog, there's the short list of people who don't particularly care for a free Iraq. I would probably add France. Does that make it a long list?
And finally, Instapundit Glenn Reynolds busts the neo-cons by showing how they planned for an Iraq invasion before Sept. 11, 2001. I can only imagine that a digital Brown Shirt clued him in.
