Eat yer heart out Ben and Jerry

Apachesm

Back in the Spring of 2003 three political junkies decided to counter the left-wing message of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream by making delicious flavors of their own; with a spin to the right.

It’s nearly three years later, and approval of Bush and his handling of the war hovers around 40 percent. But Star Spangled Ice Cream (“The Sweet Taste of Freedom”) is still going strong.

With flavors like GI Love Chocolate and Iraqi Road, these guys may be on to something.

the company, based in Alexandria, Va., is expanding from its thriving Web-only distribution into retail stores. It just recently worked out a deal to put its ice cream in several hundred 7-Elevens in the mid-Atlantic region, and it’s gotten a warm reception in Navy base exchanges, where it expects to expand its presence.

And they're developing new flavors too like Ara-Fat Free, Choc & Awe and Iraq The Vote. They've also retired a few

Al Gore Fundraiser Coffee
Bill Clinton Im-Peach
Jimmy Carter Peanut Malaise
John Kerry Ketchup Dough

But there's probably one flavor the President won't like
